Shana Smith

Shana hails from a small town in the northeastern part of North Carolina. Raised by grandparents who instilled in her the importance of education, she has received a BA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MA from Georgia State University. While sports has been of interest all her life, the business and logistics side of sports was ignited following her participation in a FOX Sports Case Study while at UNC. Shana's interest in nonprofit work stems from her childhood experiences and current battle with heart disease. When Shana is not submerged in the world of sports, she is enjoying the company of friends, on Pinterest, or making plans on how to explore the wonders of the world.
