Mission

Atlanta Track Club's Elite Teams help competitive athletes of all ages realize their athletic goals. By elevating the visibility, impact and effectiveness of the Club's top athletes, the Elite Teams help the organization act on its mission of impacting health and wellness in Atlanta through running and walking.

The objective and purpose of the Atlanta Track Club Elite are to:

  • Promote competitive distance running and track and field at the Olympic, Open and Masters levels.
  • Promote active support of and participation in Atlanta Track Club
  • Increase the visibility of Atlanta Track Club at local, regional and national levels
  • Support team members in achieving their running-related goals through team participation and being part of an enclave
  • Share knowledge and experience with the running community at large

About Our Team

Eligibility Requirements and Applications

  • Olympic Development Team provides elite training and support to professional, post-collegiate athletes pursuing their Olympic dreams and competing at the highest levels including national championships and international competitions. Athletes are selected by Coaches Amy and Andrew Begley and the High Performance Director. If interested, please send your athletic resume and a letter of interest directly to the coaches or High Performance Director.

  • Masters Teams (over 40, Long Distance Running, over 25 Track & Field) provide opportunities for athletes to continue competing at all levels. More information can be found here.

  • Open Team (under 40) is for athletes that are post-collegiate athletes who can compete at the regional and national level in open and club competition.
