Support Atlanta Track Club's Elite athletes by helping the athletes realize their athletic goals. In so doing, elevate the visibility, impact and effectiveness of the Club's top athletes in a way that helps the organization act on its mission of impacting health and wellness in Atlanta through running and walking.

The objective and purpose of the Atlanta Track Club Elite are to:

  • Promote competitive distance running and track and field
  • Promote active support of and participation in Atlanta Track Club
  • Increase the visibility of Atlanta Track Club at local, regional and national levels
  • Support team members in achieving their running-related goals through team participation and being part of an enclave
  • Share knowledge and experience with the running community at large

About Our Team

Eligibility Requirements and Applications

  • Olympic Development Team provides the elite training to athletes pursuing Olympic dreams and dedicated to running at the highest level. Athletes are selected by Coaches Amy and Andrew Begley. Qualifying athletes will receive a stipend from Mizuno to support them as they chase Olympic success.
  • In pursuit of giving more opportunities for athletes from the Club's team and from around the country to compete in high-level track & field meets, the Club has partnered with four other professional teams from across the east coast to form the Eastern Track League. Learn more about the league here as it gets under way in spring of 2019.
  • Masters Team is open to all Atlanta Track Club members who are 40 and over for long-distance running and 30 and over for all track and field athletes. All athletes will be put on a mailing list to receive our quarterly newsletter that highlights upcoming team competitions.
    • Eligibility:
      • Active Atlanta Track Club member
      • Current USATF membership listing Atlanta Track Club as their affiliation
      • Athletes that participate with the team and complete required volunteer hours are eligible for club support as determined by the team captains.

  • Open Team (under 40) is for athletes that are top post-collegiate athletes who can compete at a national level.
