Payton Jordan Invitational

In his first return to the track since the IAAF World Championships in 2017, Rob Mullett finished 14th in the men's 3000m steeplechase in a time of 8:47.88. Bridget Lyons, in one of the final track races of her career, smashed her 10,000m personal best with a 33:05.91.

US Half Marathon Championships

In his first race in an Atlanta Track Club singlet, Wilkerson Given put on an impressive display, finishing seventh in 1:03:45. His training partner, Matt McDonald, crossed the line in 15th in 1:05:23.

Brandon Lasater set a new 800m personal best, running 1:47:00 to defeat Nashville Track Club's Quamel Prince who clocked a finishing time of 1:47.04.

A slightly disappointing evening for Atlanta Track Club Elite, as Brandon Hazouri finished sixth in 4:06.0 and Brandon Lasater finished eighth in 4:10.0 at this road mile.

USATF Georgia Meet of Champions

In an incredible, breakout performance, Brandon Lasater took home the victory in the USATF Georgia Meet of Champions Dream 800m in 1:45.85. Once again using an incredible kick, Lasater powered past Erik Sowinski, Alex Amankwah, and Quamel Prince to shatter his personal best and take the title.

Music City Distance Carnival

June 1-2

Ed Kemboi ran a season best 1:46.07, getting himself back into form. In his return to the track from injury, Christian DeLago ran an excellent 4:04.21.

Portland Track Festival

June 10

Another season's best for Yolanda Ngarambe, who ran 4:16.53 in the 1500m. And Bridget Lyons ran a 5000m PR of 15:52.29 in one of her last races on the track.

USATF Outdoor Championships

June 21-24

Brandon Lasater and Bridget Lyons traveled to Des Moines, Iowa, to compete in the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships. Lasater, with a season's best of 1:45.85, used a patented kick to surge into second place in the first two rounds, entering both final turns near the back of the pack before bursting into second. In the first round, he was behind Clayton Murphy; In the second behind Erik Sowinski. In the finals, however, that kick wasn't quite enough, and Lasater missed the podium behind those two men and Isaiah Harris, finishing in 1:48.27. This caps a remarkable U.S. season for Lasater and a first trip to the finals at the USATF Championships. Lyons, competing in both the 10,000m and the 5,000m, capped her track & field season with solid performances, finishing 14th and 12th, respectively, in the two events. In the 10,000m, she ran 33:49.40, and in the 5,000 a 16:06.33.

Cork City Sports International Meeting

July 17, 2018

In his European debut, Brandon Lasater traveled to Cork, Ireland, for the Cork City Sports International Meeting. Battling both jetlag and a strong field including Eric Sowinski and Chris Geisting, Lasater finished sixth in 1:48.18

Morton Games

July 19, 2018

Later in the week, Lasater competed in the Morton Games and was much improved in his second European outing. A resurgent Boris Berian won the race, but Lasater finished second in 1:46.54.

2018 NACAC Championships

August 10 - 12, 2018

Brandon Lasater was selected as part of the U.S. team for the 2018 NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada. He finished sixth in 1:50.91
