Volunteer Check-In


  • Please arrive early for your shift to avoid competition with participant traffic, who will be parking in the same garage. Each volunteer will receive their messenger, T-shirt, snack, and both an emergency lanyard and safety vest that must be returned at the end of the shift
  • Opens at 4:50am
  • Volunteers will receive:
    - adidas commemorative T-shirt
    - adidas PNC backpack
    - Bagels, coffee and water
    - Complimentary parking
    - Handwarmers
    - Safety Vest ( to be returned )
  • In addition to your fun takeaways from Atlanta Track Club, you get to partake in the amazing discounts at Atlantic Stations shops and restaurants. GETTING TO VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN ( PARKING) 

We highly recommend using the MARTA transit system, but if you are unable to for any reason, please click here to view the list of road closures and times. Atlanta Track Club is not held responsible for any charges or violations of your vehicle.

Bag Policy

No backpacks, coolers or bags of any kind are allowed at the start, on course or in the finish area. Anyone at the start with a bag will be asked to surrender it and its contents. All bags in the finish area will be subject to search and emptied into a clear plastic bag which we will provide. We ask that you leave bags and other extra items at home to ensure safety and security and expedite movement throughout the day.

Remember: See something, say something. Be vigilant. If you see something suspicious, contact the nearest police officer or call 911.

Volunteer Check-In varies on your assigned area. Your crew chief should have touched base with you on your meeting location. You will go directly to your crew chief to check-in and receive pertinent information and items for the day.

COVID-19 Policy 

Based on the recent CDC updates, we have amended the guidelines as follows:

  • Atlanta Track Club requests all volunteers with symptoms or exposure to someone with COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, consider not attending events or programs
  • There is no proof of vaccination or negative test required to participate in Atlanta Track Club events
  • Volunteers are not expected to wear a mask at outdoor events and programs
  • All volunteers are encouraged to wear a mask while indoors at number pickups or expos
  • All volunteers are encouraged to bring their own hydration on course
  • Volunteers are requested to maintain social distancing and avoid physical contact throughout the duration of the event
  • Atlanta Track Club asks all volunteers to consider taking additional steps to ensure their safety and the safety of those around them. These include getting fully vaccinated and boosted, and cancelling their plans to participate if they have been exposed to someone who has been confirmed with or symptomatic with COVID
