2021 Atlanta Kids Marathon
Forget the hills in 2021! Atlanta's Marathon Weekend is moving to Atlanta Motor Speedway with the Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K. Runners and walkers can also participate in the Virtual Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K or the Virtual Publix Atlanta Kids Marathon.
Moving the event to the speedway in Hampton, GA allows for social distancing and a unique running experience. With three distances to choose from, plus a kids race, this full-weekend celebration of running will show participants from near and far why Atlanta is Running City USA. The 5K will be held under the lights of the Atlanta Motor Speedway's NASCAR oval on Saturday night. The half marathon and marathon will be held the next day utilizing the 1.5-mile track, its infield, concourse, miles of service roads and large parking lots. The Atlanta Kids Marathon will be held across both days allowing parents to schedule their children's races in conjunction with their own. For the first time, participants will be able to run the 5K and one of the longer races the following day!

Race Number Pickup
Race number pickup will be located in the plaza located in front of Gate 13 of Atlanta Motor Speedway. T-shirts can be picked up before or after your event at the T-shirt tent near Gate 13 where you will exit the Speedway after running. A third party may pick up your race number for you but only the individual with the unique bib may pick up the associated T-shirt.
To confirm your registration and start time, log in to your existing haku account. You have an existing account if you have already signed up for your 2021 Atlanta Track Club membership or if you registered for this event on this platform. If you registered for the event before we switched to haku, you will need to create an account on haku, you can do so here by entering the email address on file in your registration.

Course time limit:
Marathon: 6 hours 30 minutes (15 minute per mile pace)
Half Marathon: 3 hours and 30 minutes (16 minute per mile pace)
5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minutes per mile pace)
Virtual: No course limit for the Virtual Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K. You are welcome to complete your distance in the time that feels best for you.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

TIMING & RESULTS
All 1.3 Mile (only) registrants will be timed and unofficial results will be posted Sunday evening. No personal race registration information will be included.
The timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your child's bib is...
- Clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
- Pinned in all four corners
- Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)
- If you do not wish to have your child timed, you may peel off the timing device or simply bend it several times.
Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.
Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the event at Atlanta Motor Speedway as scheduled on February 27-28, 2021. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to COVD-19, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media.
COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
Atlanta Track Club has adopted specific policies to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers and staff. All in attendance are expected to comply with the following policies. Atlanta Track Club reserves the right to ask any attendee to leave the venue should they not comply.
- Scheduled start times, 20 runners per wave for the 1.3 Mile, 10 runners per wave for the Dash, every 15 minutes
- Mask must be worn at all times (including warmup) but can be removed while participating in the event. Mask must be put back on immediately after crossing the finish line
- Temperature checks upon entering the venue
- Social distancing of 6 feet practiced throughout the venue
- Complete the Health Screening Questionnaire within 24 hours of attending the event. Be prepared to show e-mail confirmation of completion on your phone at check-in
