is located on Level 1 of their parking garage.
A ticket to the Aquarium is not required for entry to the Expo. Discounted parking and admission to the Aquarium can be purchased below.

The deadline to purchase Will Call is 11:59 pm. the evening before your event.
Will Call Number Pickup will open on Saturday, February 25 at 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Youth number pickup will remain open until 9:30 a.m. On Sunday, February 26 it will take place from 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. The location of the Will Call tent can be found on the Start Map.
Your number will not be available at Will Call on race morning unless you have purchased this option. If you do not purchase Will Call, your number will only be available at the Expo on Friday and Saturday.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS
Those selecting the Virtual Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon or 5K will
be asked to complete their race between Friday, February 24 and Sunday,
February 26, 2023. Results must be submitted by Monday, February 27, 2023 at 12:00
p.m. in order to be included in results.
Virtual participants will receive a race bib, medal and T-shirt.
The last day to switch and sign up to receive your kit before race day is
Thursday, February 16 at 11:59 p.m. There will be no switching to the in-person event, or vice versa, after this date. February 16 is also the deadline for virtual participants to switch distances within the virtual event. Anyone who registers prior to Thursday, February 16 at
11:59 p.m. will have their kits sent prior to event day. Participants who
register after this date (2/16) will have items shipped after event day.
Switching races: Registrants may only switch from virtual to
in-person, or may switch distances within the virtual event, prior to February 16. Follow the steps below or click here for detailed instructions on switching on mobile or click here for instructions for switching on your desktop:

Please note: Virtual participants are not eligible for Streaker status or Ultimate Peach in 2023.
SWITCHING RACES
Participants in the in-person marathon and half marathon may switch to the longer or shorter distance by logging in to your participant account before Thursday, February 23 at 11:59 p.m. After this time you may visit the Solutions counter at Publix Atlanta Marathon Weekend Expo. There will be no refunds given and those moving up into the marathon will be required to pay the difference in pricing. Virtual participants may switch to in-person, or vice versa, through Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. This is also the deadline for virtual participants to switch distances within the virtual event. Those in-person participants switching events on race morning will be disqualified and removed from the results. WEATHER POLICY
Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine. However, the threat of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity of the event may result in a delay or cancellation. For full details on our event policies, including weather, refunds and cancellations, click here.
MARTA
We encourage all participants to take MARTA on race morning to avoid traffic delays due to race related street closures. Rail service start times for Publix Atlanta Marathon Weekend are as follows:
- Saturday, February 25, 2023 service will begin at 5:50 a.m.
- Sunday, February 26, 2023 service will be begin at 6:00 a.m.
The frequency will be as follows: both days and both lines (N/S & E/W) will be on a 20 minute headway. Trains will run every 10 minutes between Lindbergh and the Airport. Extra trains will be inserted as needed The extra trains will decrease the headways from 20 to 12 minutes (and 6 minutes between Lindbergh and Airport) during peak periods.

PARKING
If MARTA is not an option, there is ample parking in and around the Centennial Olympic Park area. We recommend you research parking options, avoid parking lots along Marietta Street (on the course) and have backup options in mind for race day should your first choice be filled or closed.
Lactation Services
A dedicated lactation tent will be available in Centennial Olympic Park at the start/finish area of the Publix Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon. The dedicated tent will be private and include amenities for breastfeeding parents to take part in the weekend of events. Personal nursing pumps may then be checked at the nearby Gear Check tent for safe storage.
GEAR CHECK
Gear check will be available on Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m. and Sunday at 5:30 a.m. If you plan to check gear, please tear the gear check tag from the top of your race number and attach it to the bag provided to you at race number pickup. Items placed in bags other than the clear ones received at number pickup will not be accepted for gear check. Atlanta Track Club is not responsible for lost or missing bags. All checked gear must be picked up from the gear check tent by 2:00 p.m. on race day. Any remaining bags will be taken to Atlanta Track Club's office and made available for pick-up during regular office hours beginning on Tuesday, February 28. Items from unclaimed bags will be donated to local shelters after Friday, March 3.

The Publix Atlanta Marathon & Half Marathon Pace Team is here to help you achieve your goals at the event. Pace Team leads will run even splits at the pace indicated next to the finish times. Run/walk intervals will be offered for some of the pace groups.

ATHLETE TRACKING
Participants may enter up to three phone numbers to receive texts with their split and finish times on race day by signing up for athlete tracking. More information and a link to register will be posted closer to event weekend.

2023 Eligible Streaker List
Streakers are defined as participants who have completed any distance of the Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K from 2007 to the present. Virtual participants from 2021 and 2022 are eligible however virtual participation is no longer accepted in 2023, you must register for the in-person event to continue your Streaker status. Streakers must have valid results in the race they registered for and finish within the course limit to be eligible the following year. If you are a streaker and do not see your name on the list, please contact questions@atlantatrackclub.org.
AWARDS
Overall and Masters awards are based on gun time and Grandmasters are based upon net time. Overall, including Masters and Grandmasters winners are not eligible for age group awards.
Award ceremonies will take place on the Main Stage and begin at the following times on race day:
- 8:30 a.m. - 5K awards ceremony
- 8:45 a.m. - Half Marathon awards ceremony
- 10:30 a.m. - Full Marathon awards ceremony

The 2023 Publix Atlanta 5K serves as the USATF Masters 5K Championships. A prize purse will be awarded to eligible runners ages 40 and over. To be included in the USATF Masters 5 km Championship portion of Publix Atlanta 5K, athletes must register and declare eligibility through USATF.org.

Runner 321
Runner 321 is a movement started by adidas encouraging
athletes with Down syndrome or other intellectual or developmental disabilities
to participate in races and other sporting events. The movement calls for every
marathon to hold bib #321, a number representing trisomy 21 in the Down syndrome
community, to ensure representation and inclusion for neurodivergent athletes
in mainstream sports. Read more here.
To qualify for the Runner 321 program one must register and
then provide verification of eligibility to awd@atlantatrackclub.org.
