The Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race has been a Fourth of July tradition in Atlanta since 1970. From its humble beginnings with 110 runners crossing the finish line, the Peachtree has become the world's largest 10K and the nation's largest running event. With 60,000 registered runners/walkers, it attracts participants from all over the nation and the world.
