Runner 321
Atlanta Track Club is excited to include Runner 321 in the 2023 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race. Runner 321 is a movement started by adidas encouraging athletes with Down syndrome or other intellectual or developmental disabilities to participate in races and other sporting events. The movement calls for every marathon to hold bib #321, a number representing trisomy 21 in the Down syndrome community, to ensure representation and inclusion for neurodivergent athletes in mainstream sports. Read more here.
To qualify for the Runner 321 program one must register and then provide verification of eligibility to awd@atlantatrackclub.org.
