Lottery and member registration for the 56th Running of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race is now closed.
About Lottery Registration: The lottery system returned in 2025. Non-Atlanta Track Club members had to enter through the lottery from April 1-30. All participants that entered will have a fair chance in securing a spot. Everyone had to enter a credit card when registering, but the card will not be charged unless you are selected. Lottery notifications went out the first week in May.

Important! Road Closure Information July 2 - July 4
New in 2025, from July 2 at 2 a.m. to July 4 at 10 a.m., Peachtree Road from Lenox Parkway to Lenox Road will be closed as the iconic start truss is build days ahead of race day! This is meant to create a festival-like atmosphere where participants can take photos at the starting line, explore Buckhead's dining and shopping and soak in Atlanta's biggest running tradition through the Expo! 2026 Registration Coming July 4, 2025
Registration for the 2026 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race and Atlanta Journal-Constitution Polar Opposite Peachtree Road Race will open from July 4 - July 11, 2025. All registrants will be guaranteed entry at the lowest price. This is your chance to skip the lottery in 2026.
