When is the 2021 AJC Peachtree Road Race?

The AJC Peachtree Road Race returns in 2021 with an in-person and virtual option to be held on July 3 and July 4. Exact start times are to be determined. Those who wish can also choose to complete the event virtually on the same dates.

How much is entry into the 2021 AJC Peachtree Road Race?

Entry into the AJC Peachtree Road Race is $38 for members and $45 for non-members who register through the lottery. Entrants can become members at any time prior to entering the AJC Peachtree Road Race to receive guaranteed entry and member pricing.

When is registration for the 2021 AJC Peachtree Road Race and how does registration for the Peachtree lottery work?

  • Registration opens March 15 and will remain open until at least May 1.

  • Participants will be asked to choose their preferred race day during registration

  • Registration opens on March 15. Visit ajc.com/peachtree.

  • You will fill out the registration form and be asked to provide your credit card information. Your credit card will NOT be charged unless your entry is selected.

  • There is no fee to enter the lottery.

  • Participants may enter the lottery only once. To bypass the lottery and secure guaranteed entry for the AJC Peachtree Road Race, join as an Atlanta Track Club member or renew your membership prior to registration.

What is the time frame for completing my 10K if I choose the virtual options?

You must complete your 10K between 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, July 3 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 4. Results must be submitted by no later than noon on July 5 via the results submission link provided the week of the event.

Are refunds available?

In the event that the AJC Peachtree Road Race cannot be held on July 4 weekend, registrants will have the option to move to virtual or receive a refund.

I deferred my 2020 entry to the 2021 AJC Peachtree Road Race. Do I need to register again?

Those that chose to move to the 2021 event, will have to re-register. Details on how to register for the 2021 event coming soon.

Do members still receive guaranteed entry?

Members will receive guaranteed entry into the event as long as they are a current member at the time they register for the 2021 event.

What does the virtual experience include?

Virtual Participants will have their race kit including race numbers and finisher's shirts, delivered to them. Each virtual participant will receive information on how to submit their results.

What is the minimum age to run Peachtree?

You must be at least ten years old as of July 3, 2021 to participate in the event.

How will I get my shirt?

In person participants will receive their finisher's shirt at the finish line of the AJC Peachtree Road Race, while virtual participants will receive their shirt with their race kit shipped via UPS.

Will there be shirt exchanges?

Shirt exchanges will be available beginning July 5, 2021.

How will I get my commemorative medal?

Commemorative medals will be made available at the expo for in-person participants, and will be shipped with your race kit if you select virtual.

What if I paid for the mailing option in 2020?

If you paid to have our race number mailed to you for the 2020 event, you will be issued a $15 credit towards your 2021 registration. More details coming soon.

Will there be an elite competition?

The AJC Peachtree Road Race will feature an elite competition with prize money for U.S. athletes only. Details will be announced soon.

How does this impact the Triple Peach Series presented by Mizuno?

The AJC Peachtree Road Race will be the first race of the Triple Peach Series presented by Mizuno. Participants will have the opportunity to register for the Triple Peach which also includes the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K and the Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon & 5K during registration.

Will Peachtree Junior have options as well?

Yes, the Peachtree Junior will be held in-person and virtually. More details coming soon on where the event will fall in the Peachtree schedule of events.
